From 2021, a new educational program "Quality of products, processes and software" according
to the international classification "Quality assurance" will be opened within the framework of the Specialty 152 – Metrology and information-measuring technique.
Students of this specialty study modern models of software product quality and its life cycle; acquire skills of forming the nomenclature of quality indicators of software products and their evaluation in accordance with the methods of modern standards, including for the purpose of certification; learn to design and implement modern quality management systems for IT services.

The department has extensive experience in training and retraining of specialists in the specialty "Quality, Standardization and Certification". Training is carried out according to the most modern curricula.
The master's degree in "Quality, Standardization and Certification" is able to:
to develop documentation for the quality system of products and services;
to develop documentation for the general management system (TQM);
to develop documentation for the system of labor protection and safety of human life;
to develop documentation on methods of quality control and management of products and services;
to organize the work of the unit for certification of products and quality systems;
to assess the level of quality of products and services;
to carry out certification tests of consumer products, services, software products;
to manage and apply measuring equipment and test equipment
Master's degree in "Quality, Standardization and Certification" can take
in any organizations or enterprises, regardless of their form of ownership, position:
quality manager, quality engineer;
standardization engineer;
head of the production control laboratory, head of the technical control department, head
production unit, head of the repair shop;
Master's degree in 152 "Metrology and Measurement Engineering", direction
provides metrological support of all stages of the product life cycle:
marketing, design, production;
operation, modernization, modeling and optimization of technological processes and systems
production, containing electronic, optoelectronic, devices and devices
The subject of the master's activity is solving problems in the following areas:
metrological support of production;
development and manufacture of measuring instruments;
operation of standards of physical quantities;
product control and testing.
