in the 20th International scientific and technical seminar

“Uncertainty of measurement: scientific, applied, regulatory and methodical aspects” (UM-2023)

The approximate range of issues that will be discussed:

  • development of the theoretical fundamentals of modeling and empirical approaches to the measurement uncertainty evaluation;
  • processing of the results and evaluation of measurement uncertainty during testing, calibrations, comparisons;
  • validation of methods of calibration and testing;
  • improving the regulatory base of measurement uncertainty evaluation;
  • automatization of processing of the results and evaluation of measurement uncertainty;
  • organizing and conducting interlaboratory comparative tests, processing their results;
  • training (including e-learning) on the issues of estimation of measurement uncertainty.

Participants of the seminar are invited to submit the abstracts (1-2 full page) in accordance with the subjoined template before November 20, 2023 to e-mail: newzip@ukr.net. An application form must be attached to the abstracts – a table of information about the authors.

Abstracts of reports will be published by the beginning of the seminar.

Presentations should be reported on November 27-28, 2023 at an online meeting.

Participation in the seminar is free.

Extended versions of the reports, from among those presented at the seminar, following peer review, will be published as articles in English in nearest issues “Ukrainian Metrological Journal” (UMJ) (included in the List of Scientific Professional Editions of Ukraine in category “A” and the Web of Science Core Collection).
